Ajmal Foundation signs MoU with IEF
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Institutional Excellence Forum (IEF) and Ajmal Foundation in Guwahati on Sunday that would pave the way for an inclusive education programme towards enabling students to pursue a dream in sync with their in-born abilities.
The project, which would embrace students of 10 colleges in and around Hojai in Nagaon district of Assam to start with, would cover more colleges in other areas of the state in a phased manner.
Addressing the media, Sirajuddin Ajmal, MP and Managing Trustee, Ajmal Foundation, said that it was of great significance that IEF and Ajmal Foundation, both working in similar fields, have decided to come together and strengthen the hands of each other in pursuit of inclusive education and excellence in a diverse range of educational endeavours in the state.
Probir Roy, Managing Trustee, IEF speaking on schools and their pivotal role in inclusive education programme, stressed on urgent need for contemporary training of faculty and role of teachers and principals with respect to gen next children.
Manab Misra, Secretary IEF, informed the audience about the Institutional Excellence Forum and their work towards making India a “Preferred Destination” for higher education by developing excellence attitude and making India a better informed career hub.
President of All India Confederation for Women Empowerment through Education (AICWETE) Shabistan Gaffar elaborated how schools and education institutions will stand advantageous over others by gaining from access to digital career exploration library, psychometric assessment & reports, career guidance seminars for parents, teachers and students, awareness about vocational skills, and scholarships etc.
Amit Garg, Founder-Trustee, IEF shared his personal goal on why and how he embarked on a mission for raising the bar for quality and excellence in education.
MRH Azad, Deputy Manager, Ajmal Foundation expressed the hope that this initiative will bear fruit for the State and light up the North East region of the country. Khasrul Islam, Manager, Ajmal Foundation, was also present on the occasion.
