The CtrlS – iCONGO promoted “KARMAVEER PURASKAAR (KVP)” are the Global Awards for Social Justice and Citizen Action instituted by the people sector & civil society with various partner organisations, citizens at large and media supporters. Be the change you want to see in this world is what every KARMAVEER inherently believes and practices.

‎Vandana Bhardwaj, founder – My Helping Hands,  was  felicitated with the prestigious ‘Karmaveer Puraskaar’ her commendable work in the field of social service in New Delhi  on 22nd March, 2015 at the exclusive awards function which is a part of “iCONGO’s  REX Conclave,  being organised on 21st, 22nd & 23rd March 2015.

Vandana Bhardwaj founded and runs the non monetary organisation called My Helping Hands. The organisation does not accept money/funds; however it accepts food, clothes, books, bags, stationery etc. The main objective of My Helping Hands is to heighten the living standard ‎of children and their families by providing education, lifestyle skills& support and opportunities in real world like getting in to a good renowned school, providing jobs and also vocational education to all school/college dropouts etc. The mission is to omit the barrier between rich and poor by providing similar education in lower class and alloting equal opportunities to poor kids which helps them to make a career for themselves and create a healthy, descent lifestyle for their families and most importantly allowing future generations of them to follow the same lifestyle by educating themselves.

My Helping Hands has grown from a small local organisation to a multi location presence NMO as the following areas are taken over now : Versova,Yaari road,Mud island, Banguda, and Charoti. These areas receive regular clothes and food donation. Education and career opportunities are other chores of My Helping Hands in these areas. The most important thing here is that the kids themselves are volunteering for the betterment of other kids‎ and now they have started branching out and started taking education and lifestyle classes independently under the guidance of their mentor Vandana Bhardwaj.

The Vision is to spread it’s wings to as many children as possible thus making a 100% literate India. This can be only achieved if every one who is eligible should contribute to the growth of society and our future generations to make our country the most peaceful and developed countries in the world.

By profession Vandana Bhardwaj is also the CEO and Founder of Acolade cosmetics, which has a wide range of organic and non Organic products and is distributed through 36 cities in India. Acolade has also started export and is launching chain of spas and salons across India.
