Regional Passport Office, Mumbai to hold ‘passport camp’ in Daman on Saturday

The Regional Passport Office, Mumbai is holding a ‘passport camp’ in Daman on Saturday, October 18, to facilitate issue of passports. The camp will be held at Daman Police Headquarters, Dunetha Road, Nani Daman. This opportunity can be availed of by applicants residing in Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli only.

Appointments for the camps are being released from 3 p.m., October 15, 2014 at www.passportindia.gov.in . Regional Passport Officer, Mumbai has appealed to the applicants to book their appointments and visit the venue with requisite set of original and self attested photocopies along with Application Reference Number (ARN) sheet.

It is further clarified that Tatkal applications, as well as those in ‘walk-in’, ‘on-hold’ and ‘pending’ categories shall not be entertained at this passport camp.

Regional Passport Office, Mumbai, established in 1954, is one of the oldest passport offices in the country. It has jurisdiction to issue passports to residents of Mumbai, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Aurangabad, Aurangabad Rural in Maharashtra and the Union Territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman.
